Menopause
Menopause affects a growing share of the workforce, often at the peak of a career. This stream covers symptoms at work, environmental adjustments, and the capability to keep experienced people in the job.
The retention issue nobody names
Sleep disruption, cognitive load, heat and pain reach into performance, confidence and attendance. Some employees reduce hours or leave the workforce entirely rather than raise it.
The adjustments are usually small and inexpensive: temperature and uniform flexibility, rest and bathroom access, hours and workload settings, and a manager who treats the conversation as routine.
What this stream covers
- Symptoms at work What actually affects performance and attendance.
- Environmental adjustments Temperature, ventilation, uniform and facilities.
- Hours and workload Flexibility that protects output and wellbeing.
- Manager capability Making the conversation normal rather than awkward.
